Have you heard any of the Quiet / Low Noise oil-free compressors operate? It's a thing of beauty. What used to be a screaming banshee is now a hum with a mild chuga-chuga.

That would be nice indeed. Mine is a bit noisy but not noisy enough to open my wallet ...
