Reviving the thread gave me the opportunity to review what a solid mechanic and motorcyclist like Dave considers "farkles:"

An OEM seat and grip puppies.... That's it? For a lot of us, a complete bike right out of the crate.

Ray, you described the RS perfectly. It does, in fact, do everything so well, as is. I think I used that term because I saw it so much on the Euro forum, lol. Most of my mods to the RS have been in the function category, except for the Remus (I just like the look and noise)
