This is my experience also except that I have done a lot more. I have a Kendon single trailer that is 18 years old and has about 12k miles on it. My 1200 RS and my current 1250 RS behave identical to bikes without electronic suspension when it comes to strapping down on the trailer. So I don't see any point in fooling with the ESA for trailering.
