Why change the OEM tire ??

I did happen to notice on my new '23 bike, that it came with Road 5 GTs. Not sure why they put the GT spec'd tire on the RS bike instead of the standard Road 5 or 6 tires.

My new 23 RS built to my configuration in May of 2023 came with Michelin Road 5 GTs. Wearing great at 5k miles. I will replace with Road 6s (Not GTs). I was happy to have Michelins which I have preferred on past cycles!
