Re-key nav mount
#1
I am able to get a nav6 and mount but no key for the mount. Can it be re-keyed to my bike? TIA

I think so but I'd check with several BMW dealers to find out. I say several as not all BMW dealers are as helpful as one might hope.

Did you get the 6 and mount that sold for $200 on ADV?
If the mount can't be rekeyed without a key ask the seller to get a non chipped key made and you offer to pay for it.
Last time I looked they cost around $35 from a dealer. The dealer will need to order it.

The keys are now about $44.00 or so today.  I got one a couple of weeks ago.

If it has not been shipped and the seller does not want to get a key for you, ask if he can ship it in the unlocked position.
I saw one video where the cylinder could be removed if the lock is in the unlocked position. You remove a small cover on the back of the mount to get the cylinder out.
