I wonder if the prices will change much next year with the US plant closing?

That's anyone's guess.  As I understand it, the RS4 wasn't made at the NY plant.  All of the RS4s I've owned were manufactured in Japan

The ones on our bikes were made in Japan.
I don't remember where the RS3s we had in the past were made.

I probably wont need new tires until the end of next year.  My current front has 1500-miles of wear and the rear is at 5500-miles of wear.  I ride a bit more than 6K per year.

The current price is good, but do I really gain anything by holding tires for a year before mounting?

Just glad I replaced my tires this fall. Shouldn't need to do that again until next fall or the following spring.

I understand, but it's nice to pick-up tires when the price is lower.

This looks like a good deal on Pirelli Angel ST.  Anyone have experience with them?

That's a darned nice price. I have no experience with these older (2009?) model tires but it's a great name and should be good especially at that price. Here is a review from Rider Magazine as well as others here in this Google search. And it is in keeping with the philosophy of this thread.  Big Grin

I wonder if there is a similar deal for a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs for the Tiger ...  Wink  (Nope)
