The 2025 R1300GS Adventure (R1300GSA) - Love it or leave it?

I could have sworn that there was a thread on this Forum Community on the new R1300GSA, but I guess I was wrong. Well, here is one now.  Big Grin

I will be the first to admit, when the first photos of the new R1300 GSA were released, I gagged ... it was even worse looking than the R12xxGSA! Despite the "regular" R1300GS having the weird X-shaped headlight, but still looking the best of all of its predecessors (to my eye).

Then a weird thing happened ... the R1300GSA grew on me despite not having seen any in the flesh ... just from pictures and videos - see attached photos from BMW Motorrad - there are lots of other photos on the web, of course.

Still, I reserved final judgement until I saw one in person. Well today I did and, even though it was not yet prepped, I am still convinced that I like this bike and better than the preceding "fat" GSA. Here are the pictures of what I saw; and in my preferred GS / GSA colourway. I will admit, though, I am not a fan of the pannier rack structure at the rear end though. Looks too heavy. Other than that it is a sweet ride. And this one has the Automated Shift Assistant as well.

So what are your opinions on the new R1300GSA? Love it or leave it? I know that Bruce probably has one already ...  Big Grin

No. Maybe it'll grow on me, but right now, still ugly. Haven't seen one IRL.

I don't like the big bulky look and did not like the previous GSA.
For a adventure bike the R1300GS looks good to me.

We know a guy in Quebec who has a red one sitting at the dealer but he can't ride it until spring because of the motorcycle winter tire law. The dealer will deliver it for him.
His 2018 GSA was a low suspension bike but he said he could touch on this bike. Not flat footed.
