LED Headlights

I’ve been running Techmax brand led headlights on my ‘16 RS since 2020. Over the last year I started getting random failed bulb warnings, first with the high beam, then eventually with the low beam as well. Instead of taking a shot on another brand that might (or might not) work, I figured I would try load resisters to fool the CANbus.
Installed Phillips #5064994. Over the last couple of months have no warnings. Super easy install

Very nice Dave. Here is a link to the Philips 5064994 CANbus LED control unit (H7) on Amazon. My issue is still the wedge parking lamp and taking the headlamp assembly off to do a proper installation of it. Did you convert the parking lamps on your bike to LEDs?

I do have the LED parking lights too. I was able to install them without removing the headlights.

I have not been able to find a pair of parking lights that wont throw a code with the CANsmart Harness even though the lights were advertised not to. I realize that without the CANsmart harness the light could work fine. For now I am riding with the fault on the display. Over the winter I plan on wiring up a plug and play resistor in an area with good cooling . Of course I would rather buy a pair that has been tested but I have not found anything of the sort.

And they work without a resistor, right? 

My Amazon order history shows I ordered them in December 2022 and IIRC they threw a code which is why they are not installed now. Strange.

Update - confirmed; they did not work for me. I do have resistors purchased ... just a matter if installing them.
