My R1250RS has hibernated over winter on trickle charge. A couple of days ago I started the engine to let it run for a while, however, when I started the engine the TFT display showed mileage and speed readings in Kilometers.
I went into the bike settings to change back to Miles but there wasn't any bike settings at all.
My bike went to Sunderland Motorrad after BMW Assist couldn't rectify the problem.
When I saw the tft problems I checked all the buttons and switches and everything was working OK apart from the Heated Grips button which did not show any grip settings on the TFT.
Sunderland Motorrad managed to reset the software but said that the heated grips needed a new button switch which has to be sent from Germany.
Has anyone else had these problems ?
