Chigee AIO-6 MAX and related peripherals
#1
I just uploaded my comprehensive and totally unbiased review of the Chigee AIO-6 MAX as the first of 4 main video reviews of the AIO-6 Smart Riding Display, and peripherals such as the BMW Quick Release Module, the SR-1 Blind Spot Radar system, and the front and rear dashcam cameras.

In a nutshell, this is the best unit that I have used to date both in terms of features and quality. There will be other videos on the channel in support of the system I have.

Lastly, I am an affiliate of Chigee so if you do decide to purchase anything from the Chigee store, I much appreciate if you use my affiliate link or my coupon code. You get 10% off and I get a small commission for my efforts in this review.

I enjoyed your video, and found it very informative. Out of curiosity, how does this unit compare in size to the old Nav VI units? My ‘24 RS has the TFT screen, and I’m curious how well the AIO-6 will fit tucked in between the stock windscreen and TFT.

For those interested:

The Nav VI is approximately 5.5 x 3.3 x 1 inches.

The AIO-6 is approximately 6.3 x 3.6 x .9 inches

A little over 3/4” wider, 3/8” taller, and .1” thinner

The BMW adapter appears to push the unit slightly towards the rider, helping to ameliorate the increase in height for those using a relocated GPS with a standard windscreen.  It looks like it will be a tight fit.

Thanks for the comment and for answering the question you had. Means I don't have to. Big Grin

Yes, they are very similar in size which from Chigee's standpoint is a good thing since they are making a unit that is similar in size compared to the established Nav VI which is a designed-to-fit part. The AIO-6 feels every bit the same quality as the Nav VI, and maybe even better in some respects. Can't say for the long-term screen performance and whether the often-experienced ghost tapping of the Nav VI screen will happen on the Chigee unit. I have never heard of any such reports thus far and I have no reason to believe it would.

After I posted my question, I thought “Why did I do that? I hate when people ask questions that they can answer themselves with just a tiny bit of effort??”

Hope this helps anyone considering replacing their Garmin VI (like I am!)
