Very tidy indeed. Nice. Can we get some closeups? All that black and these old eyes do not let me fully appreciate the good work you did.

Chris when you removed the rear handles that were likely part of the rear rack and also removed the pannier racks did you fill that space with a kit from Puig? I'm asking as I have what I believe is that kit which was in a shipment of parts I bought for a RS and I have no idea how it mounts.

Darrell, yes I used the Puig kit when I removed the rack. Basically it has a left and right (I believe they are marked L & R) mounting bracket that bolts in and then the abs pieces screw into the bracket with 3 screws and plastic screw caps. They really clean up the void left by the rack.

I wanted to make this a moduler swap so if I want to take a trip with the side cases I could just swap it back quickly. So I ordered a stock tail light bracket assy and cut most of it off. Stock turn signals and side reflectors and an aftermarket license plate rim with running/brake light and license plate light. Used a sheet of .063" aluminum I got off Amazon and went to work. This probably cost more than any of the aftermarket solutions, but so it goes...
Very nice, I choose to use a admore brake/turn lights so I could still used my bags.

Would love to get some more info on your installation. Did you tap into the brake/running/turn signal wires in the tail section directly, or did you use something like a Hex EZcan? Asking because i need to redo my Admore lights (they were "tapped" into my Hex EZcan but are not working now).
Yes It's connected thru an EZcan.
