Changing the oil on a Bugatti Veryon requires partial disassembly of the car to remove 16 drain plugs and costs over $20,000 if performed by a dealer. We're on the very normal end of things in comparison.

So you're saying that I won't be able to take my Bugatti to the local quick lube for my oil changes?

Hahahah ... heck I was even hesitant about taking my wife's Golf SEL there, but I believe (know) my wife sneaks her car to Jiffy Lube ...

32 quarts with 2 left over is 4 oil changes for us.
It will be next year before I use it all but like Wayne said it won't spoil in that time.
It takes up very little room so I usually buy it when it's cheap.
Most of the time I have at least a years worth of oil on hand.
I can't run to the dealer or parts store when I need oil.
I so badly want to know how in the world you get your bikes up there! And yes, I understand the picture is not showing but have faith you know what I am talking about.

I pull through a sliding door opening from the main part of the garage.

I was just going over this tread to determine which brand of 5W-40 engine oil users have been using. I am only going to the Bmw stealership or any other when I have no choice, with oil I do.
Amazon.ca is probably the best bet for me here as some sellers have free shipping. It appears to be a choice of Motul or Liqui Moly brands. I will probably go with the Motul as I have used it in the past. I will use the Liqui Moly gear oil though.
To give my US friends an Idea of cost 4L of Motul 7100 4T SAE 5W-40, API SN, JASO MA2 is listed on Amazon.ca for $89 cad or $65.72 usd
I did notice some peeps using the Castrol with the older SL code.
On another note, now the search is on for oil filters, crush washers and O-rings. Where as vendors do not want to ship oil over the boarder hardware should be easy enough.
Time to put the tractor away till next year.

All my bikes only get the Castrol synthetic from Amazon as it is the most convenient, cheapest (presently $8.83/quart), good oil that I can get. Click of a button and the box of 6 is dropped at my door.

I have been getting my oil drain crush washers from my dealership as they have been known to give them to me for free, but I have no issue paying for that. Filters? I have been using the K&N filters because they are a good solid filter and they have a nut on top which allows easy removal and installation using a torque wrench. My powerful Dimple oil drain plug magnet accounts for particulate differences (if there are any) between the K&N filter and an OEM filter.
