Geza Gear motorcycle cover

I have waited literally months to write a review on the cover I just received from Geza Gear (http://www.gezagear.com/).

• This is my forth Geza Gear cover in 20 years
  
• I think they're the best covers on the market
  
• The company is ridiculously slow in getting the cover to their customers!
  

On average, COVID or not, my covers have taken about six months to arrive. They always seem to require some prodding, and the response is always, "Any moment now," it it always takes ages. Knowing that, I ordered a cover for my R1250RS the day I bought my bike. Well, it's a bit more complicated--I left the cover for the K1300S on the trunk of my car and drove away...and had to order a new one. Months went by and I sold the K1300S for the K16 (not the best decision) called Geza and because they'd not yet sent me a cover, agreed to credit me for the cost. Five years later and, lacking formal documentation, they still agreed to give me credit.

So they're glacially slow, promise to ship when they're apparently not ready to, but they will get the cover to you and it will be remarkable.

I like a cover I can put on my bike when staying overnight someplace. The cover packs down smaller than a loaf of raisin bread, but when stretched across the bike is still very substantial. Some older on-line reviews complained of scratches--I never had that problem but maybe it's a matter of keeping the bike clean.

Bottom line--the only reason my current Geza Gear cover may be my last is because I love the bike it covers more than any I've ever owned. The cover is strong, packs small, and looks amazing. It's worth the wait.

Looks nice! I've got an old Geza sport bike cover that can actually be stretched over my 1250. Doesn't give as much coverage as yours but still functunal after all these years, great covers!

I was always curious about these covers after seeing the ads in BMW ON Magazine. Don't know why they are so slow with the orders. That's a huge negative for me. The Geza cover does look nicer when on the bike, but the ugly look is more effective in discouraging prying eyes and attention, IMO.

I have an Oxford bikini-type cover that does the job and covers the bike with the panniers and top box on.

Te great thing about Geza is some of the covers can be used on a open trailer or pickup .
The covers do not flap which can damage paint.

The superlight. When I was talking to Geza I said I wanted a cover that packed to the smallest size they had. The fabric has a curious, almost waxy feel, so I suspect it will repel light rain well enough. They don't sell it as water proof, and none of my other covers have been, but after an overnight shower I'm not worried about soaked bike electronics. The cover is also easily machine washable.

Other notes: When I ordered the cover I didn't yet have the tall Wunderlich wind screen--so when it came time to stretch the cover over the bike it dealt with the SW-Motech Pro tailbag just fine but the shield was additional inches it didn't seem to have. I'm back to the stock windscreen, which is not bad for the approaching summer, even if it does not look as cool...

Not this cover but that's because I expressly asked for it not two. When traveling I tend to carry the cases inside. As for condensation...maybe. I've not tested it but I suspect the cover is more breathable than water proof. I would not depend on it for outside storage. Inside a garage, to keep off dust and pollen, and should I ever trailer the bike, certainly it will work well.

I was wondering if you ordered it that way.
If we ever start to trailer our bikes I would buy a couple Giza covers.
In the rain bikes really get dirty when hauled on a open trailer.

Depends on where the bike is parked and who is around. This is not a bad area, I suppose, but I was talking no chances. Besides, I have to put this new disk lock with alarm to use. ? Works well but I have to be careful to lock / unlock it first or else it could go off.
