Maybe option. I have a set but haven’t install them yet. I’m also working on another self build option that would be of higher quality then theses AND if it works out I’ll post some information.

Yes, I was able to test them out on my last trip. I had to raise them bit as the dealer had them too low but I love the spread it gives!

While waiting for my bike to get here I decided to order some lighting:
- MachineArt Moto mk2 Light Bars
- 2x Denali D3 - to be mounted to the light bars
- 2x Denali DM - to be mounted just inside the front fairing sides
- Denali Sound Bomb Mini
- Gen2 CANbus CanSmart Unit for R1250RS
Out of stock everywhere stateside I looked so ordered from Nippy Norman's -- and delivered, the entire set of stuff costs within $10 of a single set of Clearwater Erikas. Their prices remain outrageous IMO.

Great choices, going with Denali Electronics. Both my bikes have Denali accessories and so far, aside from the B6 aux stop light, all have been flawless. The B6 was replaced under warranty. Can't be beat for value and is the main reason I did not go with Clearwater which are nice lights but overpriced.
The Soundbomb Mini is nice enough but IMO not loud enough, but you probably know of its performance level compared with the compressor version.

I've wanted to install a louder horn too. So I'm wondering where you plan on mounting the Sound Bomb mini? Looks difficult to access the OEM horn for replacement and no space for an additional horn near it.
See you somewhere down a twisty road

Sound pressure/volume will also depend on where it's mounted. I've read of other riders replacing their stock R-series horns with K-series horns which supposedly are noticeably louder. I figure I'm going to have most of the plastics off anyway to install all the crap I bought so hopefully things will be easier/more accessible.

It's not that easy to find direct comparison videos between equivalent Denali & Clearwater setups. "A Bike Thing" on YouTube has been one of the very few who has. Clearwater's stuff is fine, but Denali seems to provide more light output for the physical size and wattage, and at a MUCH more reasonable price. Talking to dealerships near me they seem to only work with either Denali or Clearwater and seemingly have no experience with the "other". Disappointing customer service as IMO these are the two top vendors for bike lights currently.
As for the horn, I know a dual horn or horn & compressor would be louder but I'm already anticipating very little space to work with so why not try with the smaller first and see how I like it?

I've always considered Clearwaters and Denalis essentially equivalent for the money, and the dealerships around here handle both.
I go with Clearwater because I like the company.

I've found that his site is the most useful for motorcycle auxiliary lighting (and other things as well). He actually tests the lights and makes videos to show the results.

IIRC the location for the horn on the R1250RS is perhaps different than on my bike. If the same (between the two headlamps; and if the LED headlamp housings are similar to the halogen housings) then the SB Mini should fit as easily as the horn component on my Split SB (i.e. barely).
Good idea to try the easier / smaller one first and see what you think.
