While on a ride during the last Ride In, Bob (BobAin'tStoppin') said that my auxiliary brake light (Denali B6) seemed rather dim, and that was confirmed to be a partial failure of the unit. It has not only dim but it was not increasing in brightness as the brake was activated.
I made a short video clip and sent it to Denali Electronics who said that it was covered under warranty and that I should send just the light to them (at my cost), and they would replace it when it came in - it was / still is out of stock at my typical online suppliers (Revzilla, Twisted Throttle, Cycle Gear, etc.). They promptly sent me a whole new B6 kit which I installed yesterday. What a difference, and what service! This is not the first time dealing with Denali Electronics and every time they have been excellent. Kudos to them and their products, which as you know, I highly recommend. And kudos to Bob for telling me of the problem in the first place.

Goat: Thank you for those videos! I had set up my previous bike, a red 2016 S1000XR, with Clearwater Ericas on the front and a Billy Jr. brake light on the back. Only electric mod to OXCART, my current '22 R1250RS is the Powerlet DIN power socket attached at the left passenger peg strut, with the power wire threaded over the top of the battery case and wired directly to the battery. I don't need to spoil the lines of my RS with Ericas on the front because that LED headlight is plenty bright, but I'd like a bit more flash on the tail/brake light.
Inspired by a post on this forum, plus seeing that sanitary wiring job you did in the videos, I just ordered a Denali brake light module from Denali and a Hex ezCan II from Ted Porter's Beemer Shop. I saw on another YouTube video that the CANsmart controller is made by Hex, so I decided to go with that. Looking forward to the install.
I'm thinking about moving my DIN socket wire from the direct battery connection to the ezCan for that extra bit of coolosity.
Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down

Thanks and you are welcome. I think you will be happy with the Hex ezCAN (as you would have been with a Denali CANSmart) controller and the B6. I have the CANSmart on the RS and the ezCAN on the Tiger and are equally impressed, although something tells me that the Hex version might have a slight edge somehow (haven't bothered to figure that out ...).
