I have a 2022 light white and want to buy BMW cases. I can't figure out what color cases will look good and I can't find good pics. I can get a good deal on granite color but the only match is with cylinder heads really.
If you're buying new cases you can get lids in Lite White, Gloss Red, Gloss Black, Matte Granite Grey and Matte Asphalt Grey.
Asphalt Grey is the color of your cylinder head covers. I don't have good pictures yet. Our lids are Granite Grey that we had on the previous bikes. Asphalt Grey is a little darker and looks good. Because of the lighting, the top box in the bottom picture looks close to Asphalt Grey.

I forgot to welcome you to the site.
Good luck on figuring out the lid color. We also struggled with trying to decide since there were no pictures out there. We took the cheap route and stayed with the bags we already had  My wife decided to get a new top box for her bike and the shop mistakenly ordered it with a Asphalt Grey lid, which they will replace with Granite Grey to match the other lids. After seeing the Asphalt Grey lid on her top box we agreed the Asphalt Grey is a richer looking color. If we were starting with all new, Asphalt Grey would be top of the list for us.

Not enough to paint our lids or buy new lids I didn't realize they had Asphalt Grey as a option. Maybe that started in 2019 with the R1250. It would still be nice to see a white RS with white or red lids.

It would be nice if BMW would show accessories like panniers when you do a "Build Your Own" so you can see how different colored bags look on a bike.
