Haynes will start to provide digital manuals in 2022 you can download.
For awhile BMW sold the R1250 DVD. Maybe Haynes can get there hands on one of those.

You missed one word ... "only" as in:
Haynes will start to provide only digital manuals in 2022 you can download. They will not offer printed manuals [as well] in the future for new manuals.
They have been already offering digital manuals for the past couple of years at least. I know this because I had to order paper manuals directly from them for the S1000R and the Tracer 900GT and they came with free limited trial subscriptions to the digital manual included.
Not sure if this link will work for you (as I got it after I logged into my account) but this is an example of what they offer for an online manual. The manuals for the bikes were similar but a bit less detailed, IIRC.
Personally, I hate this approach as I am disinclined to bring my computer on the garage floor to click through pages with greased-up hands as I do some work. YES, you can print off the pages you think you will need BUT in many cases you need to jump around to get all the sub-processes needed and print them off as well. So it is doable and if cheaper (and it was) then it is probably OK. One plus is that the photos are usually in colour and are zoomable - not the case in the books.

The BMW manual for the K1200RS was PDF so I printed the complete manual.
We had a fast printer at work.
The K1300S and R1200RS was not PDF so I only printed the sections I thought I would use.

I didn't use the word "only" because I didn't want people to think Haynes would stop printing manuals for the older bikes. They will continue to print manuals for the R1200RS.

Good point. I suppose they will continue to print those that already exist ... for now, but you know that will stop eventually. Money talks. As long as they keep producing some sort of manual for vehicles that I am able / willing to work on they will get my money.

The cheapest manual I could find was a download that was on eBay. Less than both US and UK Haynes sites.
I have a BMW disc but it is difficult to use.

I bought the book and the online version. Both have their uses, and I have an extra laptop specifically set aside to be for my garage because I know for a lot of stuff I'm going to be watching how-to videos off YouTube or that I bought from Jim Von Baden.

I bought the same one, PDF format. Glad to have a copy of the service manual, finally!
