Acquired this a few years ago. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

After a few short rides and only a few hundred miles - the flywheel fell off.

Not a pleasant moment.

Spent a fortune on an engine rebuild, but a few things got in the way and it’s still unfinished. And I left it on the Naughty Step.

A friend of mine bought a 50 year old R50 last year but kept it only a few months. These bikes are not “old” bikes anymore, they are “vintage”. That means “work”.

Looks good, though.
