Picked up a used Remus slip on the other day. Purchased from a gentleman that had the misfortune of running over a 3/4” combination wrench, which then punctured the engine case. Caused enough damage to the tranny/case for insurance to total the bike! Fortunately he wasn’t hurt and the payoff allowed him to get a new steed- a very sinister looking black GS.
The pipe looks brand new. The installation was straightforward and (with the dB killer in) sounds great. Slightly louder at idle. Throaty while accelerating, but barely noticeable during steady cruising. It does pop a little more during downshifting, which I like. Quite a change from the stock can, particularly in size and weight
