Hi everyone,
I am exploring the exhaust options of the R1250RS and I really like the Vance & Hines pipe, but since they don't make it for the RS I am considering buying a GS version and making a custom bracket to fit the RS. Has anyone gone down this road? What is the likelihood of unhappy ECU codes. I've searched forums and Google, nothing comes up specific to Vance & Hines and RS.
Thanks,
Big O

Had to Google this exhaust as I had never heard of it. Not my cup of tea.
If they make it for the GS it is likely there it will not trigger a code. Go for it and let us know the result.

They were big in the 80s especially in racing.

Good to see they're still a successful company and sill made in the US.

If you're not replacing the headers there shouldn't be a code. The bike's sensors will talk to the ECU and everything should be cool.
