Philadelphia to Cape Breton
#1
Just got back from a 10-day, 2600 mile round trip to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  Great tour, beautiful place.  My 2016 R1200RS (with 17k miles) performed flawlessly (save for a failed headlight bulb on the last day).  At 60 years old, I found it to be a relatively comfortable bike for this length of tour, and would do it again without hesitation.

Sounds like an amazing ride. Great experience and at nearly 69 years old I agree, the RS is a good bike for a trip like that.

Very nice. Jealous of your trip. Never rode in that part of Canada but it is in my bucket list, as is all of Newfoundland. Heck all of Canada … the lower part at least.

Running the Cabot trail today and tomorrow with a friend. We try to do it every year in both directions.

It's a great ride. Need to make my way south more haven't ridden in the US yet.
