Turn indicators - different set up

In Rider’s Manual (page 60) was written:
“The turn indicators are cancelled automatically after the defined time and distance. The defined time and distance can be set by an authorised BMW Motorrad dealer.”

Did anyone set up different time and distance ?

I looked at the options when I reviewed the bike with my mechanic before delivery and decided I could live with the factory setting. I do notice on occasion they turn off too early for my liking so need to remember to check and reactivate when that happens as a result of my turning them on well before turning.
