Hi new member here, tried to write an introduction above but was closed by the moderator???

Been riding for 50 plus years and lost my right leg 12 years ago. Doctors put a dirty screw in my leg
and a short leg leg can be the result of that.
Had 50 + motorcycles as well. I worked at a large BMW shop for 10 years A&S BMW.

The above info is just a little background history since Interductions was locked by the Moderator.

Anywho, I just picked up a 2023 R1250RS, and it had an extra Wunderlich Tall Seat.
The stock seat was acceptable to get a firm footing with my right prosthetic on the ground
So the Wunderlich is about 3 months old and selling it for $350. the current going price is $600. +

Iam in Woodland Ca. 95776

Phone 916-342-2434

Hello Wforider - Welcome to the Forum Community. Sorry you seemed to have trouble posting an introduction earlier, but I am sure that it was not locked by anyone on this end. There is only one Moderator and I am the Administrator and owner of the forum, and while I didn’t lock anything, I am sure the Moderator didn’t either.

The photos you are trying to display are not referenced properly which is why they won’t show. There is an area at the bottom of the area where you write your message where you can upload photos from your computer. There is a limit of 500 kB per photo and guidance is provided on uploading photos, in the Announcements forum (I think; I’m writing this on my phone in a doctors office). You are also limited to 5 photos per post. The size limit and number limit would be more than sufficient to advertise your seat for sale. If still having problems posting the photos email them to me and I will assist.

UPDATE: Click here for guidance on uploading photos.

Welcome to the site.
Does the $350 price include shipping. I know a guy looking for a tall Wunderlich seat.

Darrell, I have the seat on the bike. It is exactly as expected. Appreciate it.
FYI, to any one looking at the Wunderlich seat, the tall is actually about 3/4 inch taller than the BMW tall seat. So if you are needing more leg room, this is an easy way to get it without lowering the foot pegs. It does put you up higher so this could be an issue for some. Either not able to reach the ground easily or puts your head further into turbulent air.
For me it is just fine. will put some miles and see how it all works out.

Again, thanks Darrell.

I replaced my Wunderlich with a Sargent seat. So, yeah, I have one available! PM me for deets. Great seat, and I do miss its height (the Sargent tall still sits lower)
