Eh? Error in your ways with a R1200RS? What happened ...? I have a 1200 and would definitely not be buying a 1250 now that the 1300 is out, not that there is anything wrong with the 1250 ...

Welcome back and enjoy the RS, whatever engine it has.  Smile

? The error was selling the 1200rs and buying a 1200 GSA. Great heavy lumps. Far too heavy for my aging bones.

Ahhh ... OK. Yes, the GSA is a big ol' heavy bike (compared to the RS which is a smaller ol' heavy bike Big Grin ) I have the RS next to my Tiger in the garage and, while the Tiger is a bigger bike dimensionally, it is significantly lighter than the RS and easier to manhandle in the garage. I can only imagine what the GSA would have been like.

One of my tests in buying a bike is how easy it is to grab onto by the left handlebar and left rear grab handle and then wheel it back and forth. One of the reasons I would likely never get a GSA (even though for some strange reason I like the looks of the current 1300 GSA).

Hey man - welcome back! This is a pretty cool forum.

I also have a R1250RS, and it's perfect. Reminds me of my old '98 K1200RS. Or maybe a slightly more relaxed version of a K1300S, but with that soothing boxer engine. Those new 1300GSs are pretty nice. But the R1250RS - now that's motorcycling perfection.

My R1250RS Exclusive has all the best gubbins included. Neither of the R1300RS options has that. So I'm sticking!
