Hello from Sunny California

Star
Hello Everyone,

I attempted to ride in 2005, but life happened and recently started back on the bike in April 2026 (successfully completed and received my permit). This past weekend completed the CHP Motorcycle Safety Course in Solis, CA, which humbly rewards me with my M1 endorsement.

Prior to riding motorcycles, I’m an avid cyclist, which has greatly aided me with quickly grasping the abilities and controls of my R1300RS.

Welcome to the Forum Community. I suspect you might be one of the first here with the new R1300RS ... nice; and also quite a powerful first bike for a new rider. Be careful.

Did you get the ASA version?

Very nice ... love BMWs in Triple Black. Distinguished and "grown-up". Big Grin

How do you find the ASA?
