Went for a quick ride on some local roads with Darrell this morning. He was in the neighborhood and dropped by for a cup of coffee, and we headed out for a ride and some lunch (thanks again Darrell!) Beautiful day out and not too much traffic on the roads we were on, all in all a good time.

Great to hear. Any photos? When we go riding we often forget to memorialize the event with photos ...
I too went for a ride before lunch as it was a beautiful day here as well. But the "weather" is coming back now that the effect of the "cold front" that came through on Wednesday wears off.

This one was warmer than that during the day ... got as low as the low 80's.
The nice thing was the low humidity. That made all the difference. Nights got as low as the high 50s ... briefly.

GG, no photos unfortunately (I'm bad about that). It was really nice here about 75 degrees and low humidity, very clear views to the horizon.

It got down to 43 here yesterday.
Our first trip to Texas in 87 we went to Harlingen to watch the Commemorative Air Force show ( Confederate Air Force back then) and the locals kept telling us a cold front was on the way.
Several days later we asked when it would arrive and they told us it already passed.
We never noticed it

Chris, if Debbie can ride we'll meet a group in Yellville for 4 days.
Stop by one of the afternoons if you want.
Here's the motel https://www.thecarltonmarioninn.com/
If you want to stay there were 4 rooms left as of a couple days ago.
There's a dozen or so of us.
The only thing organized is the date and motel.

Chris You guys had fun; a really good ride never seems to demand photos.
FWIW, I did Ohio today and will return to St. Louis late tomorrow night by way of Chicago and Southern, WI.

Yes we are going. Looks like rain a couple days.
We went for a ride last week to make sure her foot can handle it.
She thought she would be ok.
Backing up was painful but I can take care of that.

Good to hear that her foot is allowing her on the bike.

It was a long summer. June 10th was her last time on the bike.
We head south this morning. Going to need the heated jackets, it's 44 deg.
