Hello from West Yorkshire
#1
Hi All,

Just registered as I have a new 1250RS in light white on order (since 4th Feb)
I've gone for the SE so have Comfort, Touring and Dynamic packages and White BMW panniers for all the "wife's stuff" when travelling.

Unfortunately, I've been told of a delay with delivery related to a "Fuel Delivery Issue" and original date of late March / Early April is now unlikely. Confused

Dealer seems to have little or no info as to likely date for delivery. Angry

Any "inside information" gladly accepted.

Greetings from West Yorkshire!

Greetings to you and welcome to the Forum Community! I wonder what this "fuel delivery issue" is all about?

Ditto. Seems very nondescript. '23 RS models seem to be arriving at dealerships near me in the NE USA on a fast and furious basis.

I was in a localish BMW dealer yesterday (Cheltenham) and they had a white one in the showroom, but unfortunately it had a sold sticker on it. I also noticed they had one in m sport colours tucked away , registered so probably a demo bike.

Hi Max,
Your assumption is quite correct!
Do you associate Yorkshire with beer?
Admittedly, we do have some fine brews up here but throughout the UK there are now many superb Craft Ale breweries.

I'm fortunate that our "local" brewery is Timothy Taylors who make a fine ale called Landlord (and many others)!

I'm actually a native of the West Midlands (Redditch near Birmingham) and that area also boasts some fine ale!

Hi Becksy,
I'll actually be in Worcester on Wednesday this week so might just have a detour to Cotswold BMW in Cheltenham.

It would be nice to see a '23 model in white as I've only seen the sport and triple black up here at Jefferies BMW (now Vertu).

Obviously, I'll ask whether Cotswold have any knowledge of a potential technical issue affecting deliveries.

I'm wondering if it's just an excuse and it's really just a general delay.

Will update later in the week.

Yes I do, somewhat. I have a group of guys that I ride with from Canada, Europe and the UK. Two are from the Dales and they like their beer! and they are a hoot also.
