Try this portion of what you copied.
Lee's Loop
I noticed that I recently get the option to share routes - email, facebook, etc. If you choose option "blog," you get the <iframe src....
Since I've never shared any of my routes, I can't really make any recommendations.

It looked to me like the map was zoomed in a bit already. The route goes off of the top and bottom of the frame. Couldn't really do anything with the picture. Hope those roads are open for our gathering.
Thanks, that answers my main question. It looks like you have to have Rever installed to zoom or move the map. If others can't manipulate the map I might as well post a screen shot.
The map shows a loop over Monarch and Cottonwood passes. Cottonwood is NE of Gunnison and should be fine unless a new fire starts.
The fire I'm watching is the Cameron Peak fire. That's a large fire and has a road closed I want to take. Hwy 14, Pouder River.

Not sure this is the right place for this, but Grumpy can move as needed. I am a long time fan of completely planning longer rides rather than just pointing in the right direction. I have been in the Base Camp camp forever. But just noticed that Base Camp is no longer to be supported by Garmin, and further, The Mac OS will not open intel based stuff in the near future. So there is a new Tread app from Garmin. Anyone know anything about this. Will it work for planning road routes? Thanks for any comments.

Hey Bob - sounds on-topic for this thread to me.
Never heard of the Tread app so I asked your question to AI and this is what it said right off the bat. Garmin itself says this. Sounds like it can do the route planning that you might be looking for, including importing / exporting GPX files, but I have not personally tried it. Rated 4.4 / 5 on the App Store.

Currently wandering around the east coast for a few weeks (a couple scientific meetings, the national rally and a couple of visits with a couple of friends and and family) and still planning day to day (or night to night) on Rever Pro (with the Butler Map overlay) and downloading the tracks to my NAV V. (If Google is nototrious for putting us on non-existant roads, then I can't wait to hear some of the stories folks have on roads generated by AI hallucinations.....)
(In no hurry, I like the flexibility of waking up in the morning, checking the weather, and setting up a plan for the day. Unless it's a weekend, I usually don't make hotel reservations or sleeping plans until mid afternoon or during supper. National Forest and community park camping are occasionally spontaneous options.)

I use the free version of Ride With GPS. For me it's the easiest to manipulate while drawing routes. Then import the route into OsmAnd+ maps on my phone/Carpuride. Far easier(for me) than Basecamp.
Just got back yesterday from a 1450 mile scooter ride around the eastern edge of Texas with two others. The person who actually mapped it out uses the paid version. The third guy used gpxviewer to load routes from Ride with GPS on his phone.

Good tip on the OsmAnd Maps. I like that it can import the GPX files. I also like that the OsmAnd Maps+ can be bought with a one-time price and not only by subscription.
I went to the website and looked at the map and zoomed in on my house location but was slightly disappointed to see that it was not quite accurate with respect to the houses that have been the way they are for more than 25 years ... So slight map accuracy shortfall perhaps ... I know it is based on an open-source map product OpenStreetMap which shows the exact same map with slightly less accuracy than the OsmAnd version of the map (only found the street and not the house despite plugging in the exact address).
But I do like that OsmAnd maps import GPS files, works offline, and is compatible with CarPlay. May give it a try when the need arises.

A thumbs up for ride with GPS.
I use the membership version of ride with GPS when putting together bicycle routes for others. I find it's great for taking Garmin tracks and turning them into annotated rides.
