The previous owner put those on and based on the "NA" in the parts fiche (because it is not available in this market) I suspect they are knock-offs. I have seen listings on eBay for them, and at a good price too.

Did the same in late 2017 with gravel in the road.
Luckily, my wife and myself walked away from it.
Wow! And a grey RS too. Glad to hear that you walked away from it without serious injury. Did the bike have much damage?
In Norwegian currency 130.000 NOK which is probably around the price of a new RS in the US. In Norway we have some taxes to pay . . . . .Anyway, it got repaired and was as good as before. Had it two more years, but now I have the 2020 R1250RS :-)

They look the same as our OEM LEDs. It's only been a year or two that BMW had to stop installing them in the US. You might find a dealer who still has them still on the shelf.

True but maybe not at $25/pair. ?

Glad to hear you're ok GG, and the bike doesn't look as if it came off that badly. It's almost impossible to see gravel on road surfaces like that. We get a lot of gravel at the mouths of driveways around here, but you can see it.

Thanks Chris. No the damage is not too bad.
The fairing will be repaired for under $180 which is more than $100 cheaper than a new one and my body shop does excellent work. The expensive part is the dumb sticker - over $70. The gearshift will be $175 from BMW so all told the bike should be restored to pre crash condition for about $500. ?

How much is a mirror? I take it you won't replace the clutch lever?

I won’t replace the clutch lever yet. Will see how I can repair it while investigating better aftermarket levers. The clutch lever on this bike is non adjustable and non-folding so they should be changed out.
A pair of mirrors was purchased for $22.29 - an appropriate price for mirrors that can get damaged in a fall and that are blurry after 65 mph and essentially useless after 80 mph.

You can probably file and polish the lever.
If you want different ones, Pazzo and Synto are good quality but you won't like the price.

I changed the clutch lever on my XR because I wanted one with the adjustable lever. The clutch feel was what I liked least about the XR, having the lever 1" closer to the grip was a great improvement.

Which lever did you get, Ron? I am still to make up my mind about that but (as typical) don't want to spend stupid money. Rather save the money for gas.

I bought the Synto levers for $260 but installed the clutch only. I had to rotate the clutch handlebar assembly more than I wanted, but it was only a little bit, and I made it work. I hope I can attach a video here so you can see, it's a QuickTime movie. The problem was the adjustment is by a lever that points towards the rider, in the #1 position I wanted the lever touched and pressed the high beam paddle and I was flashing the lights every time I shifted. I had surgery on my left wrist many years ago and I was particular to the position of the clutch lever, I had it just where I wanted it, but had to rotate it just a bit to avoid flashing the high beam. So look for one with either a wheel or a lever that faces forward.
PS: video file type not allowed
PPS: you might be able to tell from this picture, when the clutch is pulled in all the way, the adjusting lever presses the high beam paddle.

mine look a little bit different, even though I bought them from Pirate's Lair. This is the OEM
It was the 1-2-3-4-5 adjusting lever that was touching, not the main lever itself. In position 2 it was ok. But I wanted position 1.
