Both of us actually like shorter for riding in the rain. The extra air helps to blow the water off our face-shields.
Which screen you prefer is really dependent on your helmet, riding gear (i.e., jacket, neck gaiter, ear plugs) and your build vs the bike's geometry. What I preferred when I bought the bike in 2016 has changed drastically. Other than chilly weather, I'm running the stock screen in the lowest position. When I bought the bike, I thought the screen was too small and low.
