Please let us know is that fault comes back despite the battery replacement. It is very weird to me that a bad battery can lead to a specific fault like "Spring strut adjustment faulty". If that is indeed the case, it suggests that nothing makes sense anymore because with this system any fault could be the battery which makes actual troubleshooting by an owner all the more difficult. 

On a separate but related note - did you connect the bike to a GS-911? Do you have a GS-911?

The battery issue might make sense since the battery is required to operate the drive motor for the rear suspension and if the battery is low then maybe the motor cannot actuate, thus the error.
