Please let us know is that fault comes back despite the battery replacement. It is very weird to me that a bad battery can lead to a specific fault like "Spring strut adjustment faulty". If that is indeed the case, it suggests that nothing makes sense anymore because with this system any fault could be the battery which makes actual troubleshooting by an owner all the more difficult.
On a separate but related note - did you connect the bike to a GS-911? Do you have a GS-911?

Battery or a connection fault. I experienced numerous Limp Mode events over two years or so and the only stored errors throttle position faults. I even switch out a battery at the time. The apparent problem was a slight amount of corrosion on the connector pins at the ECU. The shop cleaned the connector, applied a new/better BMW-spec dielectric grease. Problem gone, but the experience was maddening.
I knocked, but the door was open.......
