Be thankful only the mirror snapped off.
Several years ago I had an unfortunate encounter on my '17 RS with a bicycle rider. My right mirror completely broke off breaking the right side fairing and the forward support for the whole front end of the fairing under that.
Took a month or more to get the forward support since none were available in the US. This was also right after Covid so the supply chain was totally disrupted.
The entire front end of the fairing had to be disassembled to replace the support. It is made out of what I describe as foam metal and is exceptionally light weight.
Consider yourself lucky.
