I didn't mean to sidetrack the thread with my sarcasm, Wayne, but in the 3 months, while waiting for my Ducati to arrive (many moons ago), I wore my new CoolTech leather jacket and Shoei helmet around the house enough times that my wife started wondering what was wrong with me

Dave no worries at all. I like a bit of humour and silliness sometimes. I never did wear my gear around the house, even to break in, largely because I tend to feel hot quickly. Starting tomorrow I will be testing all this Gore-Tex gear on an actual road trip. Looking forward to it.

Probably won't wear the Storm Collar till Monday though, as that has a chance of rain as we make our way back to Houston from the DeGray area in Arkansas.
