Yep, seeing and thinking the same thing. Finding more 9Ts than GSes even. I'm guessing GSes are selling well enough that it's difficult to keep them in inventory but in the few times I've seen reviewers who have directly spoken with BMW reps they say both the RS has sold the least and is expected to sell the least. Looking at BMW's marketing efforts like their BMW Motorrad YouTube channel they'll include the RS in passing mention when covering a full lineup, but they've yet to release an RS-specific video of any sort -- yet there's plenty on GSes, R18s, nineT, etc.
It really does seem like there's some internal politics going on and the people responsible for the RS are being taught a lesson. Seemingly without fail, independent reviews comparing the RS to the GS admit if not going off-road the RS is a better purchase, a best if-you-only-could-have-one vs other sport-tourers, etc. I haven't been to a BMW dealer in some time but I'm imagining sales staff directing the curious to GSes, XRs, RTs or Ks without even mentioning the RS and the only way someone will see one is if they've specifically had them ordered.
