Most excellent set, IMO. The D3s are a nice size for the RS (there is such a thing as too big and ridiculous looking) and the DMs with selective yellow are perfect for conspicuity. Based on my D2s, well-aimed D3s would be plenty for night street riding.

Thanks; I think so as well. I feel Clearwater is overpriced for what they offer compared to Denali, and the HEX ezCAN controller system is very capable. A pair of D2s outputs 2190 lm, throwing a 75' x 525' beam. D3s, using three emitters in the housing and shipped with two different lenses (spot -- all three emitters clear, hybrid -- one clear & two diffused horizontally) provide three different options for how long/wide I want to illuminate. I run both D3s w/hybrid lenses; 4200 lm total, 225' x 1520' beam. As a long time flashlight nerd I couldn't be happier -- outstanding lights.

I agree. The Clearwaters are nice enough but not as good a value as the Denali products IMO, which is why I have had Denali electronics on my bikes since the RS. Other less expensive manufacturers are also up-and-comers as well, and Cyclops seem to be popular. Haven't used the HEX exCAN yet, but have the Denali CANSmart version on the RS.

If and when I pull the plug on aux lights on the Tiger they will be Denalis. Waiting to test ride the new 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Pro (as there have been some upgrades I like over my 2023) and the R1300GS.

+1 on the D3s.  I've previously been in the Clearwater camp; I have transferred-over Ericas and Darlas onto my Wing (Erica's are the next best thing to aircraft landing lights).  But it's hard to argue the value proposition of D3s over Darlas.  The quality of the D3s on my RS appears to be a good as Clearwater's, at a notably lower cost.
