I'm not tall (5'8") and my bike (2015 R1200RS SE Sport) has the touring screen fitted already but wind is hitting my right on the forehead of the helmet. Have moved the screen up to the higher set of mounts but makes no difference. Can anyone recommend a screen extension?

Puig makes extensions, but there are several cheaper options on eBay.
Relative to your current screen, you've moved it to the higher mounting holes and rotated the rocker arms to the higher position?
I knocked, but the door was open.......

I am the same height as you. You might find this old video useful. I still have / use this windscreen.
Compared to the Tiger the RS allows more air since it is a sport bike, and one has to balance aesthetics with functionality. For me I need the airflow since I live in Houston Texas, and airflow means noise and sometimes buffeting. This windscreen produces the desired breeze, adds to the noise, and introduces no buffeting. The lip at the top makes a huge difference.
Aside from the MRA X-creen on the RS, I fitted this clamp-on lip on my ex-Tracer 900GT and it also worked as expected.

(I remember being told 40 y ago that the forehead was the perfect place for initial impact of the wind stream off the screen when worried about drag. Not saying it's comfortable for you, just another fun fact.)

Is that the standard OEM shield or a aftermarket shield?

MRA also makes the Vario Touring windscreen. I've found the winglet to be extremely effective at smoothing out the airflow over the top of the windscreen and directing it over my helmet. Although while riding in our current 90 degree summer weather I like all the wind I can get.

Thanks, I have, yes, it's as high as it can go without modification which is why I'm mystified, being so short!

Thank you! It's the standard touring screen.

Thanks Grumpy, I actually already subscribe to your channel! Might try that screen but it's really expensive!

Maybe a shorter shield will get your helmet in clean air.

Indeed. I'm 6ft with the standard screen, set on high, and I don't get buffeted at all - at least, not that I notice. And bending my head slightly forward means the wind disperses all the raindrops downwards from my visor - which is nice.
