Ugh. After my strut-fail message and service got resolved (new battery!), I got the bike home and rode it maybe 100 miles. Put it on a new charger. Went to ride today...and upon invocation of the starter button, saw the TFT flashing a red light in the bottom left. First it flashed rapidly, then a few slower blips, then nothing. New Optimate trickle charger showed normal lights.
Dealer will pick it up on 13 February.
Anyone else have this happen?

NEVER MIND!
I AM AN IDIOT.
I had taken the motorcycle key out of my riding pants' pocket weeks ago when I was putting bags back on. I'd not placed the key back into my Aerostich Transit pants It was instead hanging on our key rack. I just checked and yes--bike is fine!

I can't count how many times my car would not start because I left the fob in the house

The blinking red dot is the bike telling you that the key is not in range. So you learned something, but a dealer agreed to pick up your bike without mentioning this to you?
