First Review of the R1300RS
#21
Here is another review from Lamb Chop. Review of its sportiness in this video, and I totally understand / agree with his comments. He will review the touring aspect in a separate video.

He does gripe about the lack of panniers, but funnily enough I (understand and) agree with BMW's (likely) rationale for offering the sporty version without panniers or adaptive cruise control, but with all the sport bike bits including shorty levers, that old fart sport bike riders would appreciate.  Wink

They have essentially carved 2 RSs out of the one platform and that is good for sales to the expected demographic. It is undoubtedly the most gorgeous looking RS ... the lines are beautiful. Good on them for bringing back the separate tail-light which is a beautifully integrated design.

It's nice the tail light is separate from the brake light.
The brake light is really tucked up in there and may not be that noticeable on the non Sport models when there's a rear rack and top box.

True. Makes the case for one of my automatic accessories ... Denali B6 brake light. Have it on both bikes.

Update on Chopsy's review of the Sport variant. Not a lot of new info from the last one.
