Hi. I have been a member for a while now and thought it time to introduce myself. I was a tiger 800 rider until I tried out a friends R1200rs down to Wells in Norfolk. I then bought a R1250rs in Austin Yellow. Bought on-line so took a bit of a gamble but absolutely have no regrets. Only modifications has been to raise the Satnav, new screen and bar risers. Mostly local rides up the Norfolk coast but the occasional longer trips to Yorkshire and Wales. Cheers David

Welcome from the capital district of New York State, USA to the world of the best unknown BMW motorcycle! My 1250 RS is also Austin Yellow. Sounds like your RS and mine have a lot of the same mods. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Forum Community, David.
Tell me - what did you like about the RS that made you switch from the Tiger 800? I have the R1200RS as well as the Tiger 900 Rally Pro (totally different engine than the 800) and they both have their specific characteristics. Just curious.
