So I got to thinking I wanted some kind of liners for my hard bags for my new-to-me 2016 RS and I didn't want to spend much money. I went to all the usual suspects - the Bay, Temu, you name it. Even checked out Amazon. It was hard to find something that fit, let alone good reviews. I did find a decent set on Amazon but the were around $65.00 USD. I still thought that was steep for what amounts to a couple of duffle bags, and then it occured to me. I'll bet duffles that size are dirt cheap. Low and behold, after some searching:
These things fit perfectly and can be had for around $13.00 if you are patient. They fluctuate regularly, so even if you aren't, you're out for under $30.00. Chock full of stuff, they fill up the cases quite well. They can be had in a bunch of colors and a couple of different storage variants. So if your looking for an inexpensive alternative to traditional liners, these might be worth a look.
Apologies if I broke any rules - just yell at me. I didn't get a chance to ride the bike much because i picked it up so late in the season, but I'm getting it ready to ride when things start to clear. In my case - that will likely be March/April I'll have more questions/insights then.

Brilliant. I wished I had the same idea as you did when I bought mine, which were purpose made to fit the panniers of the RS. It was great that the ones I got are made in the USA and I am happy to have supported the company but the material is very thin and is frankly nothing special. Did a Google search and don't seem to see any hits for any website for them so they may no longer be in business.
These Amazon ones look more robust and despite not being the exact same shape as the pannier, might hold just as much. If you get a chance, please take a photo of the filled duffel inside one of your panniers.

I resized the photo to make it easier to view the whole width of the bag. Also threw away a bunch of pizels and made it much "lighter" in terms of file size.

I am sure that you're not the only one ... seems to run in the BMW family, where the cost of everything seems to start at $1000 ... But we still love them.

The boxy shape is different than the BMW bags. The BMW liners are 2 inches longer and 2 inches wider than the Amazon bags.
Because of the smaller size the Amazon bag will fit but with wasted space.
I would not like that the Amazon bags do not fully open.

Nice bags but the ones for the RS are a little pricier than the Amazon bags ... bit the added pocket means a better fit in the curved door of the RS's pannier.

It never occurred to me to put the pocket on the inside, lol. Lifetime warranty on Kathy's, but I'm not sure when you would ever need to use it. The bags are tough. You also get the outside and inside pockets. Of course, you could buy a bunch of the Amazon bags for the price of the Kathy's. Good to have choices.

I would have been the same. Having the pocket on the outside would be handy for items you want to get at during the day.
I think most of our past BMW liners had the pocket to the inside because the hard bags had a recessed area on the inner half because of how the mount was made.
I think this liner was from the K75S.

These aren't nearly as nice as the Kathy bags - I just wanted to economize as much as possible. For under $30.00 all in, they are functional. I just needed something to keep things from rattling around. I don't camp or go on really long multi-day trips - maybe an overnight here and there - so I don't need a ton of space. That and I have too much other stuff to buy at the moment
