Colorado does a good job of most people wearing masks and keeping distances.

I wipe off the muffler and painted parts but they are not up to my standards
Two days ago we saw a Lupin RS when we were coming into Lake City.
Also saw a yellow RS a few days back.

Lee and others who have gone to Gunnison ... how did you find the altitude? Any altitude sickness, any blood pressure problems?
I ask this because I was watching a YouTube video today by a pair of RVers who were forced to move from their camping location at 10,500 ft down to 7,500 ft since the wife's blood pressure was elevated as soon as they arrived there and would not go down for days, until after they descended. Admittedly she has chronic hypertension and is on meds, as am I. Her husband who does not have hypertension was finding breathing more laborious, as did the wife.

Gunnison is at 7700 feet. You should have no issues there. When you get over 10,000 you'll notice the shortness of breath etc. Don't really know about blood pressure.

Debbie and I have never had a problem with altitude sickness.
I'll get short of breath when walking fast or walking up a steep trail above 12,000 feet.
I have high blood pressure. No idea if my blood pressure goes up when above 10,000 feet.

You'll be ok, I've never had any problems doing normal activities at elevations. I've had altitude sickness, so I know what it feels like, but I was at 12000 feet carrying a 50 lb backpack, and quickly recovered when I got down to 10000 feet. I also take blood pressure meds and riding in the mountains does not bother me at all - the duration is not long enough and the exertion is not hard enough.

Oh, that's good to know about Gunnison being at 7700 ft. I have been as high as 7500 ft on the BRP and had no issues at all.

Thanks Lee. That too is encouraging. In the video I watched, it seems that the woman even with meds had fairly high diastolic numbers as normal.

Thanks Ron. Your feedback and the others above have addressed my concerns, especially since I am not the only one taking meds (and I also use a CPAP). I don't expect to be doing a lot of walking around at 12,000 ft.

I've been on blood pressure meds for less than a year and borderline on needing it.

Some of the passes you'll ride over are above 12,000 feet. If you decide to ride up Mt Evans the road tops out around 14,000 feet.
