Confirming Eastern RS Owners Exist

A round trip is a full day but if you ride Smokehole Road (Hwy 28, west of Petersburg to "Cabins," across a small bridge and head south), it's worth it!

Some years we headquarter out of Buchanan Virginia. Wattstull Inn.
Nice riding in those areas.

Thanks GG glad to be aboard and thanks for your instructional videos especially since we have exactly the same year and color RS. I agree with you, it's definitely a keeper.

Checking in from the NY capital district. Catskill, Adirondack and Green Mtns are our usual riding playgrounds. Lots of stuff. Except for a few roads it's not Smokey Mountains stuff but good fun close to home.

I’m on Long Island, hoping it’s make my way up to the CAT scalls over the summertime once the weather warms up

East Tennessee Rider here. Just a few miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Only 25 twisty miles from the well known Tail of the Dragon 🐉

My next door neighbor and I each own an RS so I guess we'd qualify as Eastern RS riders here in Albany NY. 2 RS riders on the same 8 house street!

That is indeed amazing. In these parts it is rare to see another RS anywhere ... even in a dealer parking lot. Happened maybe once since I owned my bike (~ 7 years).

When we lived in Northern NJ, riding to Phoenicia, NY was a favorite. We'd go several times a year for wood-fired pizza here...Brio's Pizza
Outdoor seating, good people watching. Peekamoose Rd is fun...

That looks great, and a matching helmet!  Good for you.  I am on my second boxer RS, I had a 2016 and now have a 2020, it's a great bike, it's good at everything.  You won't be disappointed.

Nice to see that there are more of us weird RS riders out there. Very seldom if ever do I see one around NW Arkansas or for that matter anywhere else, just RTs and GSs.
