...it would be nice if these become options on the RS.
I agree fully, and IMO the reason is that the GS is so overwhelmingly popular that new features are offered there first, and the RS which is also a sport touring machine and which can also benefit from heated seats and ECO mode, is either relegated to getting it afterwards or not at all.
That incidentally is one of the reasons I made the RSWasserboxer.com website and this Forum Community - to try and bring greater awareness to the RS and hopefully pull it out of the shadow of the GS. Not easy to gain traction in that regard.

Keep fighting the good fight. As a former GS-owner who came back to biking on an RS I can say with confidence that as good as the GS is (and I think it’s a wonderful bike), the RS is better for probably the vast majority of riders. Having owned both (and an RT briefly) I know that’s the case for me.
The optimist in me is hoping that 2021 is a small update because they’re saving up a big update for next time (lighter, bigger tank and extra bells and whistles like the above).

I like the idea of the turn signals staying on and the extra brake lights in the back.
I'm surprised BMW had not done this years ago.

I have not heard of any reliability issues with the ShiftCam, has anybody heard anything different? As far as new features, all I want is more power, less weight, and more comfort. That's all.

The Billie light is a fantastic add on. Doesn’t get much simpler to install either. Bright is an understatement.

My 1250RT has 17,000 miles with zero engine issues but I had an issue with leaking front brake calipers that was resolved by the dealer.
The 1250 motor has a great power with gas mileage that is similar to the 1200RS. In Gunnison I was hoping to do some roll on comparisons with 1200RSs but it was not meant to be.

I don’t recall any 1200/1250 roll on tests in Gunnison. But, I can neither confirm nor deny that there may have been some top speed research :-)
