Denali SoundBomb on R1250RS
#1
I was wondering if. anyone has installed any of the Denali Soundbomb horns on their 1250RS. I see plenty of Youtube installations on 1250GS, but not much on a 1250RS.
GS owners are installing the sound bomb between the forks. On the RS there is a stabiliser between the forks so its not an option.
Also which of the 3 or 4 different Sound Bomb options would you suggest.

Thanks for any help

I can’t speak to the R1250RS but I have a video which shows how I installed the split SoundBomb on my R1200RS. On my bike the horn part is in the front cowl between the two headlight assemblies. The R1250RS has a different design so the space there may not be enough. Of course I could be wrong.

Either way I think that the split SB is the way to go.

I tried the Soundbomb Mini. When listening through the wall between the garage and the kitchen, my wife said the stock horn was considerably louder than the Soundbomb mini. The stock horn went back on. I'll sell you a Mini for cheap! :-)
