Early indications are this is a success.

These are the sensors I ordered, $37 for 2 sensors as opposed to over $200 for one.

Turns out they are for spoked wheels and look like this

A little work with a drill and it looks like this

A short distance down the drive and dashboard looks like this

Longevity will determine how successful this turns out to be, but for the $$ this is a worthwhile option IMHO

Since I ordered the wrong sensors, I had to drill the valve stem assembly out so I could bolt the sensor to the wheel.

So far, so good. Rode 275 today, no bells, buzzers, or warning lights.
