I would pay $130 for the Dynamic Motorrad bulbs is they double as running lights.
Weiser has that option but I think it $450 to $500 for four inserts.

The Dynamic Motorrad bulbs do not double as running lights and maybe that is why their cost is “more reasonable”. I’m OK with that since my Denali D2s in front are way brighter than any blinker running light would be, and they double as driving lights in the night. Smile

The Weiser inserts are functionally attractive but at $250 for each end of the bike, that’s too much for me.

I have the Dynamic Motorrad bulbs in my RS. Simple install. No alarms. Very bright.

I know. I was sold on these bulbs when I saw Darrell's earlier in Logan.

My Weisers LED turn signals were roughly 200.00 for the pair.

Where did you get them? From Weiser Technik? Might have been a sale. Their website lists them for $250 last time I checked. I’d still have a problem with $200, I think.

Yes, they were on sale when I purchased them. They are bright, and hooked into my Denali controller so when I turn emergency flashers on, the turn signals alternate back and forth between the D2's and turn signals.

I spend a lot more money on other farkles yet consider visibility to be paramount on any motor of mine as a safety feature.

I figured that they were on sale. Smile

I too spend good money on farkles of good value, and safety and performance are at the top of the list but we all have a line that we won't cross, and on top of that I have this problem called "principle" where I think that farkle makers (not saying this is the case with Weiser Technik) see motorcyclists as cash cows, and they jack up their prices knowing that someone will buy it. This is especially bad with the so-called premium brands and Harley Davidson. That said, the Weiser inserts are closer to the line than, say, an Akrapovic muffler (as an example) but think of it - a set of 4 inserts is half the price of the muffler. Dodgy

With my bikes I am at the stage where if it does not present a clear value when it comes to quality then I pass. Big Grin

BMW likes to boast about all their safety features but they still have bikes with poor lights.
The GS is one of the few models with good lights front and back.
Some models still have halogen headlights and only a single light in the back.

I feel all the bikes should have a good LED headlight plus forward running lights.
The back should also have three lights.

My FJ-09 had led headlights. They were terrific. Why can't BMW keep up with the times?
