Hello,
I picked up my R1200rs about a month ago. I love it, but I had a problem i needed to solve. I needed something I could bolt my old rear case up to, and of course my bike rack.
I came up with this piece of aluminum that perfectly fits in the OEM supplied rack. I then drilled holes in it for my mounting needs.
Im thinking of making a few to sell, but wanted to gauge interest.
I would be selling the cut piece of aluminum with the mounting hardware. I would not drill any excess holes that you see in the pictures.
The last picture is to show how I attached the bike mount to the rack. It would not be included.
