If you calculate the volume and pretend the bag is a box the volume is a little over 2 liters difference between the two bags.

The SW-Motech 18 liter Drybag is on sale for $60.
It's fairly cheap even at the list price of $71.

Gloves - a different issue. I packed 4 different pairs in the top case on the recent trip; with a little rain and temps from 20 to 80 deg F, I used them all.

And, as noted in prior threads, once we find a pair that really fits our riding style, they are immediately discontinued and quickly unavailable.

I've sold 12 motorcyle items the last couple weeks Smile

Where? (Used LF equipment has to be high quality.)

Most of the time I use Fleamarket on the Adventure Rider forum.
Because of the high number of members stuff usually sells in a couple days.
I take plenty of pictures so people know what they're getting.

Great vids, thanks. I'd seen the one where he looks at the whole lineup, but the user vid that focuses on the Micro was spot on.
Since I'm new here, I don't have the decoder ring that translates dimensions (in mm) to volume displaced (in Liters), so I'll take your word for it! ;-)
I like the Micro. Saved some dough on the Twisted site, even ordered the (back-ordered) Tablet Dry Bag attachment, as this may become my "Navi" for now.
However (not to mix thread subjects), with the BMW cradle (and anticipated tweakings, as they de-bug it), I'm more and more tempted to go ahead and have Engle move my Navi up with the Moto-Mate mount!

When Engles ordered our Engage tank bags I also had them order a tablet case to use as a map case.
They were told it may be January before it arrives.
Just in case it doesn't show up Debbie modified my old map case to work with the new bags.

I had an email exchange with Twisted Throttle yesterday that started out with them letting me know that SW Motech has basically discontinued the tablet case and that I'm still 2-3 weeks out on receipt of the Micro tank bag. I might have found a reasonable workaround in a couple of Amazon items, but need the bag in-hand first so I can better understand dimensions and attachment points.

I called Twisted Throttle last week and the guy I talked to said Twisted Throttle had not been billed for any tablet cases so that told him they would not receive in the next 30 days.
I decided to buy one on eBay.

Another item I gave up on is Rizoma Fluid Tank Covers. Brake and Clutch.
We had those on our 2016 bikes. For some reason these are not sold in pairs and I could not find the clutch side in black and silver.
Last week I tried to order them from Solomoto. They don't keep them in stock but order them from Rizoma in Italy as they receive a order.
I put a note in the order to not fill the order unless they could get both sides from Rizoma.

A few day latter they refunded my credit card charge.

There's a lot of China made covers out there but I don't want those.
A friend of mine bought some cheap China made brake and clutch levers and within a year they faded bad. He ended up replacing them with Pazzo.

Here's the covers on Debbie's 2016 RS.

I've looked pretty hard and been unsuccessful at finding reservoir covers for BMW in general. Triumph (and certain licensees) must make 20+ SKUs.
Will look at Pazzo, they've escaped my searching.

Pazzo makes clutch and brake levers.
Two companies with reservoir covers are Puig and Wunderlich.
BMW has HP and Option 719. Both are pricey and the 719 ones are kinda plain, at least in the pictures I've seen.
The RS has the same reservoir covers as the GS.

Yeah, I missed your quick shift from covers to levers. I looked at Pazzo when I was shopping for shorty levers for my (traded) T120Black. Ended up with ASV, which were very slick!

Not crazy about Wunderlich covers (price/value seems out of whack), and Puigs leave me cold as well. The BMW versions I've seen online don't seem to integrate without the rest of the 719 (or HP) packages.

One less mod to worry about!

The ebay Pro Tablet case arrived by UPS today.
New item in the sealed original SW Motech package. The box was even sealed with SW Motech tape.

The ebay seller showed as being in Southern California but the package shipped from Portland Oregon. The UPS tracking never showed a location but it did arrive on the promised date.

Can't ask for a better outcome than that, can you? Nice find!

Will be interested to see how you assess fit/size-wise with the new tank bag, and then see if that impression is scalable to give me a sense of if is compatible with the Micro, which is what I have on back-order.

My DIY/Amazon solution isn't nearly as integrated or cool, I'm sure!

Looks like it will work ok. Wish it was wide enough to allow for two folds of a map but I knew when I ordered, it would not.
Not a big deal for me as I usually copy sections of maps I think I'll need. These single sheets are easy to fold down to the size I need.
It will look a little big on the Micro. I'll take some pictures in the next couple days, probably not on the bike.
I noticed with the Molle System you can mount the map case in different positions, forward or back.

Look forward to the pics. I was afraid it would be out-sized vs. the available real estate on the "lid" of the Micro.

Maybe my option isn't so bad. "Extra Small" is 10" X 11" overall and the map window is 6" X 9". Zip-ties at the four corners...voila! Need to get the Micro in hand first (end of the month?) and go from there.

But, at $27 bucks, shipped, it's worth considering, I guess.
