So sorry. I’ve got undownloaded video to test things out. I have ridden though and don’t seem to hear the noise. Or maybe I’m just deafer.

More to follow once I get time to examine and upload a video!

A) Helmet wind noise (I guess)
B) I’m a nervous Nellie idiot (I guess)

Videos revealed no noise. Changed helmet and got a different whine /slash/ whistle. So, I’m going with that.

Interesting ... I have a Shoei RF-1200 and they are well known for whistling due to wind, and it is worse when the visor is open to any degree. Is your helmet a Shoei?

The RF-1200 was also promoted as a quiet helmet....
Here's the RF-1400 spiel - which reads almost the same as the original RF-1200 ads.

Left the ear pads in on my X-14 - no gross difference from my RF-1200s..., except when I have the Aeroflow barn door on in the up position: Noise-free - just like an RT. Is that right, Darrell?.
